International Musique Concrete Assembly

I.M.C.A. 1 (Cassette, Midas Music, 198?, Netherlands)

1. Untitled
2. Untitled

C-30 mail collaboration tape between 3 somewhat well-known sound manipulators. The initial recordings were by Frans De Waard (Kapotte Muziek)... then they were processed by Jos Smolders (IOSS), and John Hudak.

Interesting release. I definitely heard some teeth brushing in there.

Mystery Hearsay

Rifles Aimed At The Heart (Cassette, Midas Music, 1987, Netherlands)

1. Tried And Tested
2. Signals Home
3. Sights Centered
4. Astral Panes

Here's a nice experimental/industrial tape from Mike Honeycutt aka Mystery Hearsay. Lots of overlapping strange synth sounds and noises. There were some conflicting tracklists on Discogs, so I went with the one on the j-card. Correct me if I'm wrong. More from Midas Music/Tapes to come later tonight.
